The 2025 bowling season was officially opened last Saturday, 12th April when our Centenary President, Robert Madden unfurled the Association Flag at Limavady B.C.
The occasion was particularly auspicious as it marked the beginning of the NIPBA’s Centenary season following its formation in 1925.
Guests and club representatives enjoyed the afternoon’s bowling in pleasant sunshine, followed by an excellent meal provided by ‘The Snackbox’ (Damien McElroy)
In his speech, Robert paid a fitting tribute to past administrators and bowlers, many of whom are sadly no longer with us, who laid the solid foundation which paved the way for the success of the NIPBA over the last one hundred years.
